CABS real-time tracking will be unavailable in the Ohio State app on Tuesday, July 7 and Thursday, July 9 from 7–11 p.m. due to planned maintenance. During this time, Med Center Express (MC) buses will not appear in the app.

  • Road Closures, CABS Impacts for Columbus Marathon

    The Columbus Marathon will occur on Sunday, October 19.  Several campus streets, including sections of Carmack Road, Kenny Road, Woody Hayes Drive, Woodruff Avenue, College Road, 19th Avenue, Neil Avenue, Annie and John Glenn Avenue and 12th Avenue will be closed intermittently from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Vehicular traffic will be delayed entering / exiting areas within the event route. Access to the Carmack Lots on west campus will be available via Kinnear Road and Lane Avenue.

  • Home Football Saturday Travel Impacts

    During home football Saturdays, motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time and follow the directions of traffic control officers in this area. CABS routes (including paratransit and on-demand service) are suspended six hours before kickoff until two hours after the end of the game. 

  • Travel, Parking Impacts for Homecoming Parade, Other Events

    The Homecoming Parade will occur on Friday, October 3. From approximately 5:15 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., sections of Woody Hayes Drive, Woodruff Avenue, College Road, 11th Avenue, 12th Avenue, Annie and John Glenn Avenue, 18th Avenue and 19th Avenue will be closed. 

  • Labor Day Holiday CABS Service

    In observance of the Labor Day holiday, CABS will run reduced service on Monday, September 1. The Campus Connector route and paratransit will operate on the weekend schedule and CABS On-Demand will provide regular service. All other routes will not run during this time.

    Transportation and Traffic Management’s Campus Area Bus Service has been recognized by Ohio Clean Fuels as a three-star certified Ohio Green Fleet. The certification recognizes organizations that have demonstrated a commitment to reducing emissions and improving fuel efficiency.

  • Ohio State Breaks Ground on CNG Fueling Station

    COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University broke ground today on a new Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling station — the first of its kind for an Ohio university. The station will serve the university’s Department of Transportation and Traffic Management, as well as the City of Columbus, and may be utilized by additional university, state agency and central Ohio municipalities.
