  • In the News: Buckeye Bike Hub to help keep campus bicycles on the move

    A new shop to keep Buckeye bicyclists safe and on the road is open for business at The Ohio State University.The Buckeye Bike Hub plans a grand opening ceremony Tuesday evening. The hub is located at the northwest corner of the RPAC, near the sand volleyball courts, and offers bicycle repair and cycling supplies as well as educational clinics about bike maintenance, cycling skills and bike safety.Read more about the Buckeye Bike Hub
  • In the News: Schools, COTA use VW settlement funds for new, cleaner vehicles

    The Columbus Dispatch recently wrote about new sustainable transportation investments throughout Ohio as a result of a national settlement against Volkswagen.The news outlet said, Ohio’s share of the settlement is $75.3 million. Ohio State will retire six 2002 diesel buses and replace them with CNG buses that will arrive in July. Settlement funds will pay for half of the roughly $3 million cost.“We’re committed to compressed natural gas,” said Beth Snoke, Ohio State's director of Transportation and Traffic Management. “It’s a resource that we have readily available.”Read the Full Article
